Lovely place to stay for a countryside feeling. They got a huge back yards with some animals. Located in a very beautiful neighborhood and close to some pretty and ancient forest. I really love my staying in this hotel. Very recommended!!!
Beautiful venue and absolutely lovely staff. Pre fixe menu is ok price/food, wine was delicious. We had 5 courses (out of 6 possible), some were excellent— risotto and grilled sea bass stood out!— and some were average (smoked salmon starter and veal main, for eg., were fine but pretty basic). Strawberry themed dessert was a total delight! ‘Slow food’ concept taken very seriously: we spent 3,5 hours there. Most other guests seemed to be served quicker than us, so I think there are varying degrees of slow. Overall, great food for Dutch standards, but a bit average for my foodie father visiting from California.
